An Experimental Investigation of the Flow Structure on a Face Mannequin With / Without a Face Shield

نویسندگان

چکیده

This study investigated experimentally the flow regime with a face shield on mannequin placed at different distances (L=50 cm and L=150 to source of flow), i.e., perpendicular channel or an angle 10°, through PIV (Particle Imaging Velocimetry) method along dye experiments, based which injector were positioned conduct tests. As result instantaneous velocity vectors magnitude data obtained, structure around was examined in detail. The revealed that released respiratory tract hit eye area experiments performed without using shield, yet, emerged while talking close distance directed from lower part towards neck jaw but protected compared case shield. It observed lost its energy when it first left source, down area. Positioning 10° turned out be less protective than positioning channel, due being mouth effect angle.

the effects of changing roughness on the flow structure in the bends

flow in natural river bends is a complex and turbulent phenomenon which affects the scour and sedimentations and causes an irregular bed topography on the bed. for the reason, the flow hydralics and the parameters which affect the flow to be studied and understand. in this study the effect of bed and wall roughness using the software fluent discussed in a sharp 90-degree flume bend with 40.3cm ...

Face Adaptation without a Face

Prolonged viewing of a stimulus results in a subsequent perceptual bias. This perceptual adaptation and the resulting aftereffect reveal important characteristics regarding how perceptual systems are tuned. These aftereffects occur not only for simple stimulus features but also for high-level stimulus properties. Here we report a novel cross-category adaptation aftereffect demonstrating that pr...
